Position Responsibilities:
Receives incoming orders for parts, accessories, or product by inspecting incoming documentation and matching with items received. Unloads received items from trucks or other transit containers and transfer items to designated stock location.
Receives work orders from supervisor or other oral instructions to ascertain orders to be filled. Picks orders by visually identifying part numbers, quantities and types.
Packages order by applying approved methods to ensure safety of shipping and moves to appropriate staging location.
Prepares completed orders for shipping using accepted methods determined by transit type, such as UPS or commercial transit. Creates labels and other supporting documentation for shipping. Records transactions as required.
May load trucks or other transit containers with completed orders when necessary, ensuring safe operation and secure packing for over the road transit.
May record material transfers, storage and other movements on PCs, CRTs, or paper, ensuring accuracy of information.
Prepares saw chain for customer specifications or inventory by taking bulk chain, matching chain type with work order, and creating specified lengths. Packs completed chain and prepares for shipping or inventory. Records completed chain in inventory system.
Performs additional related duties as required.

Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Some level of related experience involving warehouse support functions such as picking/packing orders, loading/unloading trucks, recording material movements, etc.
Manual dexterity with the ability to use of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, sit frequently, stands, walks, stoops, kneels and crouches occasionally, lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds frequently and lifts and/or moves with mechanized assistance up to 100 pounds occasionally.
The ability to work overtime as during peak selling times, overtime and Saturdays may be required
Prior experience with RF technology is preferred but not required.

Position Summary
This position provides support to ensure the stable operation of customer equipment, including; installing, repairing, and maintaining all supported products, technology, and applications. Responsibilities

Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

Experience:0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Highway Maintenance/Highway Construction) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Highway Maintenance Assistant
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Highway Maintenance/Highway Construction) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Highway Maintenance Assistant
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Must have the ability to obtain a Class A Commercial drivers license
Must have the ability to obtain a Certification to operate specified equipment as directed by WYDOT.
Must have the ability to obtain a Certificate of course completion of Defensive Driving.
Must have the ability to obtain a First Aid/CPR certification.
Must have the ability to obtain a Flagger certification
Necessary Special Requirements
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:Individuals in this classification must be available for emergency work calls at anytime, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Individuals must report to the Department Shop within 30 minutes of receiving the call. Acceptance of an appointment to this classification signifies that the individual is aware of this requirement and will comply with it. Failure to be available for emergency work, without an acceptable excuse, will be grounds for immediate disciplinary action and possible dismissal.
NOTES:FLSA: Non-Exempt
Individuals in this classification will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
State housing and some utilities provided at some locations.
